If I want any of that kind of stuff I have to bake it myself. As I've said before on here, my wife does not cook. I am not too fond of cinnamon, but this is the time of year I sometimes get a craving for snickerdoodles. Shortbread can be really good too. I usually just buy myself a can of those Danish butter cookies and make do. Ever had em with Nutella? Oh my goodness.

Snicker doodles are in the picture, the top dish. Most of them are gone now.

Maybe so, that might be her plan.
We both go fishing together.

Best fishing partner I ever had was my wife. It was more fun watching her catch a fish than doing it myself.

There's a section of ocean in front of the Hotel Dell that has small surf at times and a sandy bottom. It's our go to halibut spot.
One time in our boat I'm using all of my tricks while drift fishing for them. Working the bait, checking it frequently, etc. Wife is just sitting there holding the pole. I tell better check your bait. No she says, it should be fine. The current was pretty much dead. I finally convinced her to check the bait. She starts reeling in and said that it feels heavy. It was a legal halibut.
So much for me thinking that I knew what I was doing. I got skunked that day.
