Nice pics Gordon. The 1st pic looks like you are really close and makes me recall this past summer. I was standing in my yak and one out of nowhere surfaced like that within rods distance to my left. I saw them in the area and was just fishing to my right and on my left one came up and startled the yellow river right out of me. Worse part is fishing in any spot they have frequented just dies right off.

Boat ran great. Going fishing Monday to see if i still know how to.

Skunked. I bought a brand new Diawa mh 2 piece 7 foot pole for my new Lew's reel and the tip snapped Clean Off at the first cast! Ugh. So upsetting. But I bought a rod tip replacement kit afterwards, so hopefully I can fix it. Story of my life.
