Hi newby here in NC. Transplanted from Fla 18 years ago. I have been deer hunting lately . I haven’t been fishing in over a month. I haven’t shot any deer yet. So I am ready to start bass fishing again. I fish mostly in SC but I fish in NC also. I am ready to learn from you. I am 67 and have been retired almost a year. Thanks HBM

Mornin' HBM, welcome. A lot of people from NC on here. In fact, I think there are more people on here from NC. than any other state, what do you people think? I'm wondering again Big A, is there a way that we could find out which state has the most members. Fl. has a bunch too. Your thoughts, please.

To Flyguy; trying to backtrack and figure out where everyone who's posted is from would take a monumental effort and the patience of Job ! Might be quicker and easier to suggest a type of census for our forum members
so
that they can just each tell us where they're from since not everyone includes it in their
profile, and someone can make
a list of the information to figure
out how many come from each state ! Is anyone/everyone else
on the forum curious enough to participate ? It wouldn't be accurate or worth the effort unless we get a large majority to join in !

I noticed that everyone on this post has already added their location to. their profile. A lot of people opted out of that when they signed up. How are those folks gonna feel about it now? For what it's worth I live in California. But it says that in my profile that appears with my posts.

I think plumbob keeps some kind of a record, I'm not sure what it is but he did mention a spreadsheet referring to the Forum to me at one time. I know plum has a great mind and he can remember everything but he is probably out to lunch at this time.

The user list just gives the top thirty users, which doesn't even break the surface. I think there are some that just monitor the posts but never or very seldom ever post. I'm wondering again Big A, how many International users do we have and where are they from? How about it guys and gals, would you be willing to put your home state on your profile and a few of us could try to keep track of it.

Which is why my last post brought up that very point ! If someone is already keeping track, then all the better ! Most do put in their locations, but not all (yet); it was just a query/suggestion in case anyone else might be interested in the results ! Hopefully, enough of us will be interested in helping to make it work !

If someone desires information about a specific lake/river/coastline or area, someone will know that whoever lives there and may know something about it.
