What are some good winter time baits to use On nickajack
Well as I have no idea what a nickajack is, I don't think I can be of any help. Sorry. But welcome to the forum David Paul! That's why we're all here - to share knowledge and learn. Oh and to lie. We all tell lies here.

Welcome to the Forum, David Paul, I see you have had the pleasure of meeting Ol' Spirit. You can't believe a word he says. Our mission is to educate, among other things, so, why don't you tell us about Nickajack? It sounds like something you would use to change a tire on a car.

From what I can find out Nickajack is a lake in Tn. I would say that what ever works on lakes close by should be a starting place. Check out YouTube, they have some stuff on there.

He speaks the truth.
Is it a jack with a Nickel Slot instead of a pump?

Except BadBobby. BadBobby never lies.
I think maybe we scared him off. Maybe I scared him off? Grow some hide.
Itβs in Tennessee fellas. Good smallmouth population. This time of year and the current cold weather..., my lineup would be; jerkbait, finesse swimbait ( 2.8-3.3 ) keiteck, finesse jig, Swaver 168, and a tube. ππΌββοΈπ£
Fish all your baits at half speed or slower, 3-5 second pauses or more with the jerkbait. Also, jigging a lipless crankbait works very good at times.... πππΌββοΈπ£
Here in the southeastern USA ( North Carolina here) a fish related to the pike family is called a "jack"... unlike the saltwater "Jack Carville" (sp?). The "jack" are a healthy and feisty fish. think tiny URL musky. But, a "nickel jack" might refer to a local sized fish... just my two cent ( confederate) worth...
Women never lie and if you believe that, I have a bridge to sell you. Lol
