Hi, My Name is Moose (Mike)! I've lost weight so I don't think I can represent as Moose,
but all my friends still use this moniker. I have fished for over 65 years
and I plan to keep going. So with "a little help from my friends" I intend to enjoy

I'm guessing that if he's fishing Montauk that he's somewhere on or around Long Island ! Montauk is PRIME striper water, so don't hold back on those photos, buddy ! We are waiting with 'baited breath' !

Welcome mr ny moose. This forum connection is going to be it for us. I went to NY once, Watertown. I couldn't listen fast enough to catch what they said. I visited a wonderful bait shop south of Watertown, Nancy's Bait & Tackle. really a great shop. I was told I have an accent. Wrong, those new yorker's have an accent. If you're into stripers then you like a good fight. I like them too. You'll like this forum. Some good folks here, & 1 Texan.

I was takin a poke at old Hack. there are several fine texan's on this forum both Male & female. Mighty fine people in the Lonestar state. There are even a few nice ones in Kansas.

I probably never met "young door gunner" Hack but it really doesn't matter, I've met several of his twin brothers. I owe my worthless hide to them. When you're just a team of 6 or 8 guys going through the jungle, minding our own business, & for whatever reason we'd find ourselves being chased by a whole mob of natives bent on causing each of us unwarranted bodily harm. At some point in this little game we could call for the Calvary, if need be. When the first cloppty clop of that huey could be heard I knew that Hack was here & those natives better fade away. Hack was behind that M60 determined to ruin somebodies day for messing with his boys. He kept that barrel hot til nothing wiggled then he'd come in & reach out with his hand to help a fellow soldier climb in & head to a warm meal. Yep, that's the Hack I know & he's welcome to poke fun at me.
