Walk in fishing.
How many states have a program with property owners that give the public access to their ponds , small lakes?
They kinda lease it to the state, with rules for being on the property.
Kansas has walk in Fishing and Hunting.
Dont think we got that in Texas. More like walk in and get run off or shot lol
No such thing in California that I know of. If you're on private property you best have permission. And this day and age that can be hard to get because people are worried they're going to held libel if something happens to you.
Many excellent fishing spots all along the Sacramento Ca. Delta are not accessible, Posted
No Trespassing!
I use to think it was because of all the garbage people would leave behind!
I agree with you Spiritof27
Do not try that in Virginia, might end up in jail for trespassing.

MN. has a stream easement for fishermen/ladies where the owner may sell 65' of streamside to the DNR for public access. They have something similar to that for hunting also but I'm not exactly sure how it works. It may be to Wildlife Management Area only.
In CT yah need land owner’s permission to hunt or fish - state owns the water WSU’s, but not all the shore line.
I have heard of people messing with fishermen/women in small water craft in small creeks, water is public domain like you say just stay in it as you go through their property.
And do not litter. If anything pick some up.
