Nope. I know the stretch, and its redds well. Pulled this one out of a deep pool well away from the actual spawning action. All in deep water off a dropper ~18in off my dry fly.
Caught a bunch of whitefish, too.

I'll never not find it weird that you guys fish for spawning fish. Not knocking you or anything, just grown up in a different culture.

I avoid the redds, and I know the river well.
Caught this one with a deep dropper in a deep hole well away from the spawning action.
Caught a bunch of whitefish (rocky mtn bone fish), too.
