Hello everyone,
As Christmas comes soon I’ve had offers for Christmas gifts. I need help choosing a spinning reel and rod for about $75. Maybe less or more. I need it for redfish, speckled trout, flounder, largemouth bass. I prefer to be sort of light, light enough to cast smaller lures like spoons, and small weights. Thank you

Go look at Cabelas online, look for rod and reel combos in your price range. They have some nice setups.

Spinning reel for UL or light Pflueger Presidents have some nice reels for about 60-$70 range ! It’s not so much h the reel it’s the rod selection when casting lighter lures !
I prefer rods over 7’ with light or UL power med fast taper ! They load lighter lures much better and make casting smaller stuff a breeze !

You will have no regrets with a Pflueger President Combo. I have several that I've used for over 20 years.
