Coming from Wisconsin to snow bird in Homosassa, FL, January, February and March 2020, primary target, black bass, any bait and locations would be greatly appreciated. Also could use the name of a reliable Mercury Marine service dealer just in case. Thanks

Good luck down there - get outta that snow. Can't help you, I'm in California, but wish you well.
Cabalas (Bass Pro Shop) in Gainsville does excellent work on Mercury Motors. I use them em and have no complaints.

Also new to forum but been in area over thirty years. For Mercury outboards, Doug's in Weeki Wachi is Mercury authorized warranty and sales and works on most outboards except Honda's. Used him for years and have found him very reliable and reasonable. Even repaired a few minor problems without charge because it was not on order and really saved me once from buying new starter for old Evinrude.about 20miles south of you. Many shops near you with good records but this is by personal experience.
Thanks for the tip, I’ll checkin with them as my plan is to fish as many “Interesting” fresh water lakes/ rivers I can get too in a reasonable distance. “Couple of hours”

Can't help so much fishing freshwater as I always fished salt. Going to change that as I moved farther inland and looking forward to get several stringers of black crappie that get so big here. Just have to fix the boat again.
Kayak or boat ?? Salt water or fresh? Bait or artificials?
Also from WI, visiting the crystal River/Ozello area in early March. Looking for tips on how and where to fish for reds, trout with fly rod. Appreciate any help.
