Be prepared

Refuse to get distracted by rigging tackle or baits on the way to the grounds. When you hit the water, you should be 100 percent focused on signs that will lead you to fish."

It makes it so much simpler to show up ready to fish, no wasted time especially with a 10 1/2 year old grandson!

I do that most of the time, but the last time I went fishing (about 3 weeks ago) I made up all my jigs and leaders and put them in a plastic bag and put them on a seat in the boat. When I got to the fishing area I
looked for the bag. You got it, the bag blew out of the boat (Good bye). Luckily I had some others stored in a storage area.
