Looks like you had a good day, much more productive day than I had! Where in NC, are you from?? I live in Kinston. I noticed plumbob is in Belhaven. Maybe we all NC guy can work up a fishing trip together, some time.

Hey Dame my next door neighbor has a get away place here in Belhaven and lives in RockY Mount. We do a lot of North Creek fishing in our yaks. Bassman57 and Dennisjj are just west of here. If this coming spring is as good as last year I will let you all know.

Dame and Plumbob, that sounds like a go to me! Never fished there, passed through alot going to Mattamuskett, we'll have to work on that. I don't have a yak, I guess my jonboat will work

Jon boat will work. We have a free ramp in the development.

wvmike had asked me about Mattamuskett fishing and I didn't have any self knowledge to give him. If you want to Pm him I think he would appreciate that.

Hey u guys have a leg up on me as I am without a boat, but hey im still game to fish new spots, and to meet fellow fishermen, im sure there is some bank access somewhere, who knows I may have one by spring and a truck by spring. Besides I'd be honored to be in the midst of such fishing wisdom as im a bit younger than most of you. 😉🤔👌

Dame, if bassman57 can make it in the spring and has room in that jon boat that might work out for you. Problem bank fishing around here is usually somebody's dock or the swamp. Either one could get you hurt. As far as younger I will see 69 next month.

38!!! some on here remember that year.

Age doesn't bother me Dame, lets see what the spring brings us. I was just talking to my Rocky Point neighbor here for the weekend and he just got back with being skunked for the day. Fishing seemed to pick up around late February early march which gives you some time to loo into a craft if that is possible. I purchase a kayak last January and my catches improved immensely. That stealth on the water pays off.
