The lack of consideration shown towards canoe and kayakers, bank fisherman, hikers, birdwatchers, etc. is astounding.
No matter how far we go into the back creeks to enjoy nature, we are still always subjected to your wakes, loud motors, and hooting and hollering.
Can’t you all stick to the river? or at least try not to be such douchebags?

Are these people blessed gigantic egos? Are they simply emotionally stunted at the Me me me age of 3? Perhaps they don't intend to be such jerks, but just don't care if they are. Even more likely, they are just stupid.

I agree. The words I want to use would not be suitable for anyone to read. And I really don't want to get kicked off a site that I learn from. And has such nice people to talk with

I think the gas fumes goes straight to the brain. Totally wipes out their intelligence and I own a gas outboard. I am totally aware of my surroundings but sometimes I make mistakes too. I have had too many close calls on the water with idiots and drunks.

Same problem in San Diego Bay.
People are fishing along the shore and jet skiers are hugging the shore line.

they need to have a driver's license for boats as most don't seem like they know the laws of navigation.

If I were to add my 2 cents it would just match many above. Unfortunately I believe our words are going to deaf ears. Really don't believe the yahoo's care and someday one will break down without a cell phone. I will politely paddle over insure their safety and if they don't have a phone i'll offer a kind word. Like Have A Nice Day. ( uttering A H ) under my breath

Mostly I avoid it in the summer by fishing no wake lakes.
