Have two SLX DCs (braided/f carbon), and a spinning reel can’t remember the name of. I’m not worried about rods as I’m getting me some custom rods from a local.
I been eyeing the metanium but was just wondering if that was the top of the line reel. Price isn’t a issue. Looking to go pick one up tmr and set it up for a few casts before work.

I really don't know, but I've seen reels more expensive than 300 at bass pro. You've gotta be doing something wrong lol. Are you just looking to spend the most money on a reel? Or do you want something specific?

I’m not looking to get the most expensive reel that is gold plated with diamonds or etc. I’m just looking for a higher end luxury baitcaster that’s a workhorse.
USA the metanium is 500$ but if I order from japan it’s 300$ so if I do jump ship on the metanium I’m gonna order it from Japan, that’s 200$ I can spend on lures or pay towards the custom rod I’m getting put on the reel,
