There is so much truth to those cartoons, it is frightening. I wonder when the pencel/pen will become obsolete.

I like the one with the group of people poking the book with a stick.
When our granddaughter was in middle school she would ask us for books.
One of them was a book on the cold war.
Lots of history books.
No Nancy Drew for her. LOL

Back in the early 80's I worked with a mechanical engineer who drew every design with a pencil and an occasional slide rule for calculations. Very old school and the drawings were spot on for what I had to assemble have the pieces were fabricated.

Along comes late 80's and young buck joins the team and I believe it was called OrCAD was his pencil of choice for young blood. Those two would go back and forth who was better. Or CAD would make corrections with out notifications and products needed to be re done. Older engineer would just laugh erase mistake and re draw.

Power would go out now and then pencil pusher just kept on going while young blood waited and waited for a reboot.

Moral of the story. If your going to replace something that works faster then make sure it works .

Everything that is old is not bad.

Everything that is new is not good.
