I just purchased an Okuma Tri0 40s spinning real that I am pumped to use.
About three times a year I travel to South Florida and it just occurred to me that I have not attempted any freshwater fishing down there (looking at you peacock!).
Is there a two piece rod (Less than $50) that I can carry on while traveling via plane?
I am looking for a medium to medium heavy fast action. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Oh great, thanks!
How has the durability been for you?

I've had it for a couple of years. I've taken it to Mexico and florida while on vacation a couple of times. Did well. No issues. It's probably a $50 dollar rod, but being 4 pieces and the hard case increases the value. I considered a st Croix travel rod but picked the ll bean because of the cost. I made the right choice.

Love my Daiwa Emblem Pro. Cheap too. Best action rod I've had.
Daiwa makes a nice little 2 piece spinning rod. Favorite makes a 2 piece White Bird for a great price. I have had excellent luck with KastKing myself, and that is the rod I took on vacation. St. Croix of course but they are twice as expensive, but I love St. Croix.

St. Croix two piece rods feel and react like a one piecer. Prices start at about $125. Worth every penny!
