I posted about this on someone else's post, but I think it's worth repeating. There is a short story by Roger Zelazny called : "The Doors of His Face, the Lamps of His Mouth". Anyone of you who enjoys a good read will appreciate this. It is one helluva fish story. Like I said in the other post - if you read it, you're welcome.

Must be a mistery fish story
I need something to read while I'm laid up. Where's this read at?
Been lookin bc been lookin
The other post was one by two blokes talking about Jurassic Lake. The name of the lake made me think of the story. Look at Amazon for short story collections by Roger Zelazny. You'll find it. It's sort of a science fiction story. Not the rockets and space ships kind. Take my word for it, you'll enjoy it if you like to read - Zelazny could flat write. Be careful, you might get hooked. He was prolific. Was. He passed several years ago.
I might just stick with westerns. I have amazon kindle on my tablet & I've got 65 unread books downloaded. That should see me through my recovery.
Well, like I said, this one is a really good fish story. Oh, and what are you gonna be recovering from?
Many of you would really enjoy reading "Here I Stand" . It is about Martin Luther at the time he wrote his 95 Thesis on Chapel door at The Wittenberg Chapel in Germany. It is written like a novel and is very educational about the Reformation beginnings. I believe it was written by Roland Bainton.
I love sci-fi. Read a review of this story and it looks good. Ordering a copy. Looks like a hellova fish story.
Thanks
I have always been a reader. My grandmother loved to read & she always saw to it I had a book or magazine to read. I've read a million westerns, & still enjoy a good shootem up. I won't pass up a book on the Civil war. We can't even imagine what those soldiers on both sides endured. My great, great (wayback) uncle was General John Bell Hood, Confederate. I've read a lot about him. Books written by the old great white hunters in Africa are spellbinding to me. Biography's of our founding fathers are some of my favorites. Tom Clancy books, I've read them all. I've tried to express the importance of reading to both my offspring & grandkids.
Recommend "Man Eaters of Kumaun". James Corbett. All true stories of hunting man eating tigers in India. He wouldn't mess with one it had killed a lot of people. Sometimes he managed to dispatch the beast when it was coming for him. Great book.
Don't forget what granny Clampett said: "It ain't the civil war. It's the war between the Americans and the Yankees!"

And while you are looking on Amazon, you could look for "when grandpa came to town" by yours truly.
It's a short book in both paperback and ebook.
Or look up the author (me) Ronald G. Hargis.
I have a (very) small spot in my library for authors I have met, but not for authors on the fishing forum. I will seek you out!
