I’m new to the Gulfport Biloxi area and I don’t know anything about fishing down here I’m originally from Minnesota and we fish walleyes and panfish., for now I’m in Diamondhead Mississippi and I’d like to go fishing from shore or off of pier I don’t have a clue about some help thanks guys

This time of year the sheepshead are in around the piers and bridges around the gulf, Fiddler crab or shrimp as a second Here is a few videos of sheepshead fishing, They are some mighty good eating

From one gopher to another, you are going to enjoy any area one the Gulf. I haven't fished the Gulfport area precisely but I have fished along the Gulf Coast from the FL. Panhandle to the Mexican Boarder, and they all fish pretty much the same. Check out the Party boats they can be fun, not the bay boats, they are a waste of time. Check out the piers, a lot of local information can be had from there. Check out the bridges and the area around the bridges. The harbors and the canals. Talk to the guys in the bait shops. Take a walk along the beach and talk to the surf fishermen. Good Luck & Tight Lines!
