Well good morning everyone!! Today is gonna be a good day, I can feel it. Passing along good vibes and praying blessing for you today in Jesus' Name, amen.

One good thing about our cold weather here.. My yorkie dog FINALLY stopped running off. Finally. I was so sick of chasing him down lol. Now, all he does is run out there and do his business, and its "Let me back in!!" Very quickly lol.

Found at least ONE perk of winter.. gotta look for the positives, ya know?!

Funny my Aunt has a dog out to do his business back in asap.

4" leggs make the grass cold this time of year.

Hahaha yes, yes it does.

Last time he ran off last week, (I say "last", he learned a hard lesson) I shut the door and sat down in my recliner. I didnt have socks on and didnt feel like climbing in my boots to got stomping around in the snow to find his little butt.. so, I waited. And waited. And waited. I thought to myself "uh oh, Trish is never gonna forgive me if he gets hit, stolen, or freezes to death.." and went to get my boots. I heard a little pathetic whimper, opened the door, and he shot in like a bullet, shivering like mad.

...he stayed balled up in a blanket the whole day. Now, he pees and wants right back in. I hope it sticks with him when the warm air comes back..

Get a roll of sod I bet you couldn't get him out the door.

And no bombs in the yard.

That's kind of a good idear actually.. maybe he will mark that instead of my coat/floor/chair/child/anything he can reach with his stream..

But, like you already said, old habits do die hard.

My Uncle named his Freak.

He was and still is a humper.

Even after they got him cut.

Should have name him jack.

But his daughter had one named jackjack.

Not sure if for the same reason.

Sick puppies like was said in another thread, different reasons though I hope.

Haha yes.. but the "naughty list" I will take.. tramping through the snow, with a limp no less, following behind a dog that's DETERMINED not to be caught. If he didnt learn a lesson, I did.. he will come back for heat and food lol I won't chase him again til the thaw, at least theres that!!

In all seriousness though, our dog gets treated better than the humans, no doubt. Only the best food and he gets alot of love. Hes a needy little b though, but loved nonetheless. I needed a 'companion animal' when I first got sober, to help with loneliness and ptsd.. I ended up with a puppy that has more issues than I do lol.. he has arthritis, and a knee that pops outta socket every now and again. Poor fella is only 2yrs old. This is why it always bothered me if he ran off...he cant take the elements, and if he did actually get stolen, I dont think he would fair well, idk anyone who would put up with his antics for long lmbo.

They say theres no bad dogs, only bad owners... well, I beg to differ because this lil guy has tried my nerves since we got him and I'm well versed in the area of "dog training" with my family's hunting background. My dad and grandpa had me running dogs with them since I was knee high to a cricket, also they owned show dogs as well, all needed to be highly trained for production.

My dog... I just dont know. Maybe all the years of inbreeding for an AKC papered purebred bred the brains out...hes pretty, but dumber than a stone. I say that with love.

That's when you have one attached to a string.

Have SO27 sit out front practice casting the bail less rig.
