Same here except it’s only 2 months. We have two months of wind and a little snow then it’s spring and beautiful here in the mountains of Idaho.

We're 20 minutes west of couer d alene idaho . Supposed to start snowing here tomorrow . Had a couple of inches last month . Love the change in seasons . One year when we lived in yakima , we had 89 inches of snow one winter . I'm 80 and still like winters. And I shovel snow.

Just a word or two today as I start my 66th year on the planet.

First, I'm grateful for all my FS compatriots who have been there for me on this site. You've advised me, prayed for me, encouraged me, made me laugh and cry and inspired me.

And I've never met any of you. Yet. I made a decision today that I will attend the Meet & Greet in KS next May. Not sure if I will fly or drive. Hoping to buy a newer car before then if I need to drive.

I feel like I need to meet you guys and gals. It's too important not to put a username with a face.

Look up ships lists. My wife and I both have found info that way. I have a ancestor that came from England 1624 as a indentured servant. He was subject to be hung and a ship's captain bought him. His crime was stealing a towns man cap that was deep in his cups worth 6 pence.

If you carry open or concealed you better have the attitude that you are going to win if you need to use your weapon.

I'll be 80 in a few days . I have carried for over 60 years. Sometimes concealed sometimes open. In our state we can still carry while in any fishing, hunting or hiking activity without a permit. We travel to Idaho a lot and they are a lot more gun friendly.

In a pinch they deliver a nice concussion too! LOL

They also work pretty well for splitting a mule deer. I have a buck110 that has slit several over the years. I bout it at a estate sail for $10 years ago . It's all I carry for a hunting knife .

L.W. I would be like a kid in a candy store. Are you allowed to tour and watch the process of a knife being born? And what wood do they use? I’d love to visit there.

Yes they have tours . Check their web sight. Not sure if they do right now ,because of the shut downs.

We have a resterant supplier here that has been giving out vegetables to people. And in Ritsville Wa. The potato warehouses are giving free potato out through 2nd harvest. 2nd harvest is a place that gives food for those in need.

My Dad told me that I should never try and argue with Drunks, Bigots, or Idiots. They don't want to learn and you can't teach them. Because they just want you to agree with them, not learn from you.

Never argue with a idiot it just brings you down to their lever. And you can't win.
