As close to jumping in the boat as I've seen for quite a while post spawn size adequate small jigs color didn't seem to matter

Where is this place?
Owyhee Res is a huge impoundment built by the Owyhee River and a couple of dams on the border of Oregon and Idaho. There's likely so many species of fish that they're probably tough to target unless you have the experience and knowledge of the water--which I don't really have. Bass, crappie, bluegill, trout, walleye, perch, maybe even a salmon or steelhead or sturgeon that possibly snuck in, among others. The trick is the usual--targeting a type of fish and knowing where and how to get them in such a large body of water. Good luck with that.
Thanks for the update Mike as i was curious to how it was going over there. I live in burns, Oregon and try to fish Owyhee a few times a year. Thanks again!
