Went to Bass Pro Sunday and bought a cavation foil plate for the lower in on my motor with 3 people in my boat and the 3rd person siting in the back the boat Porpoise until I give it more trodal and then it will plane out.
So Saturday I will try it out.
Here's a picture of it
And everyone have a great and safe Holiday and enjoy it wit your Families
.
God bless you all

The Anti-Cavitation Add-on hydro foil (shaped like an airplane wing) can help sometimes. Your lower unit already has it built in but worth a try. I added one to an outboard in the past and didn't seem to improve anything but the only way you will know is trial and error.

That's what I thought.

Andy, I added one on my Sea Pro a few years back and had an improvement from day one. Only trick was finding the happy spot on the tilt and pending people on the boat to how long it took.

Thank You Andy.

I am hoping to attend The Memorial Day Out Board Boat Races. I have went to it many times including taking my kids when they were young. It is so fun. It is 100% free parking and have a free shuttle between parking and the River. There is decent food at really fair prices. They also allow you to bring your own food and refreshments unlike so many greedy venues do currently. Hobby classes of all power limits up to and including big huge high powered hydroplane very high speed boats. It's boat races or trout fishing. Shad is probably starting to show as well locally. Big Shad for fun and saved for crab bait.

Tilt? Are you playing a PINBALL machine?

You probably are trying to say TRIM like the switch has written on it that only SOME outboards have.

Your Kayak has an Outboard affixed to it?

Good luck Andy. I've had an aluminum one on my little boat for 30+years. I fine tuned it a little in the beginning, but it eliminated the problem.

Use to go to the Boat Races here loved them ,
My dad had jet Boat with with 454 Chevy , the motor was blue printed when it was built.
We had a Kona hull.
It was 18ft and only 18" deep she was fast we even beat flat bottom hulls.
Miss those days.

I tried one when they first came out about 50 years ago. I took it off after the first year, I think it slowed the boat down a little, but, I never run them wide open, so, I'm not sure. I left it back in Caledonia.

Will do. These are ALL PROPS. Jets are strictly designed to operate in shallow water. They will function in deep water but a jet ( internal impeller ) loses 1/3 or more horsepower ( speed / efficiency ) as compared to props. None of the boats at this competition and family oriented event will be allowed to run jets. I can 100% visualize what your dad's hot rod boat was.

I watched IHBA ( International Hot Boat Association ) break the 225MPH record at Castaic Lake long ago. It was a top fuel hydro boat with a Fighter Jet Capsule for the Pilot / Captain. IHBA has boat races with all sorts of classes Inboards with jets and props etc.

Memorial Day Outboard Boat Races in Newburg Oregon is strictly Outboards. I enjoy spectating. Seeing all that cash that is all for fun invested and It doesn't cost but a 1/4 tank of fuel and a lunch etc to go.
