Hoping to share fishing info with fellow fishermen in the Carolina, Kure, and Wrightsville Beach nearshore and offshore area.
I've lived in CB since 2018, I earned my Captains license in 2020 and started my own weekend charter fishing business. I like sharing fishing tactics and techniques. I've always believed in helping other fishermen catch more fish because that's how I learned over the years from fishing with my Dad in freshwater and saltwater and talking to other people with the passion for fishing that we have.
What I can tell you for this week is we're trolling and catching Spanish just off the beach and hitting size 0 and 1 silver Clark spoons at 15 to 18 feet in 25 to 30 feet of water.
We're catching schoolly size Kings 10 to 15 miles out over wrecks, trolling with dead cigar minnows with pink skirts. Red and Vermilion Snapper 20 miles out in 80 to 90 feet of water on ledges with cut bait on 8/0 hooks. Water temp is up to 72° onshore and 73.5° 25 miles out.
I have a charter this Saturday, so I will update this info. I look forward to sharing fishing tips with everyone and hearing your fishing stories.
My wife with her nice size Spanish!
Nice schoolly kings.

Welcome aboard Capt. I left your beautiful state in 2020 after 16 years in the Belhaven part of NC. I sure miss what you are showing there. I kept myself and a few neighbors with a steady supply from my creel. So helping others is just what I was taught to do while living on the water.
Hope you enjoy the stage and looking forward to some more pics of what I still call home.

Awesome. Looks like a great day. Thank you for sharing and keep on doing it.
Hi Jim, Thank you for the reply. I appreciate your interest in my charter. I'll send the info. But, I'm not on here to "fish" for new clients.
I love to fish and love to talk to others who have my same passion.
