Arriving in Donnelly, Idaho for a week of fishing in and around Cascade Lake. Does anyone have info on bait and tackle successes?
Try the tackle shop down in Cascade. They are party tuned in on what is going on.
Tackle Toms in Cascade. The place is awesome and the staff is pretty in tune to what is going on in the area. Love that place!
Here's another "plug" for Tackle Tom's. A great store.
I've caught a few trout in Cascade (and Horsethief) using Hildebrandt spinners. (Size #4, silver color). Unfortunately, they are quite difficult to find, nowadays.

At Cascade, I have been using perch colored deep diving plugs from Tom’s. In addition to trout, also caught a couple of Perch. Now they were tasty!
