Ryan and I got to the M&G on Friday morning around 9:30am, left to go back home on Sunday at 9:00am. Had a blast at M&G! Once again Dennys camp was the spot, so good to meet and hang out with everyone! Especially O.B.G and bric! The weather was a big factor for the fishing, it rained on and off Friday and most of that night. Saturday started out with rain, cleared up mid morning, after it cleared up everyone got on the lake, Saturday all the boats got at least 1 fish, Ryan and I fished Fri. Afternoon till the rain took us off the lake. No fish Friday for us, Saturday was a better day I caught 2 nice Bass! After loosing what I think was huge cat fish! I was so bummed out after that I new the fish were few and far in between, so with the rain Ryan and I probably were on the water for maybe 12 hours total. What I enjoyed most about the M&G was sitting around the camp fire with all the guys! Jarhead, barnacles, and his brother, Jeramy, Nor Cal Steve, Steve (Saw1) , Ben, Denny and Airgerk! Oh ya don’t let me forget Tom little! What a great guy! Willing to take any guys out on his boat that don’t already have a spot on a boat. If I left anyone out I apologize it was great to meet you! I can’t end this with out thanking Ryan for all he did not only setting up this years M&G! But all he did to get his Jeep ready to make sure we had a boat to fish out of. Good luck and be safe! And can’t wait for next year’s M&G!

Glad you guys had fun despite the weather Matt, and nice Bass. Jeremy posted a picture of the Redneck Yacht, and Ryan did an awesome job on the restoration/upgrades. Hopefully more pictures will get posted when everyone gets home.

Thank Fred! Yea they were fishing today! I think O.B.G was doing good on the catching! Today Sunday was the best weather! I hope they had a great day out there! Next year I’m going to get there a few days earlier and stay a few days longer! I think some guys got there on Thursday and are staying till Monday! I got to say even though the rain was a factor for the fishing, it sure wasn’t a factor for all the fun we had!

I got skunked, but I don't mind that a bit 'cause I had a great time! Ryan, thanx for all you did! Jeremy, you were mighty generous with your breakfasts!

The campground is right on Cache creek, 20 or so minutes to the lake by boat because it's all a NO WAKE zone. Linelizzard and I decided to troll the creek out to the lake and he caught one REALLY nice crappie on a kastmaster. Lisa who runs the campground was really nice and accommodating.

Someone came up with a good idea for future get togethers. All those who have a boat would drop a slip of paper with his name into a hat, one slip for each seat they can offer. Then those who want to get out on a boat draw from the hat to see who they'll go out with. This would mix the group better and we'll all get to know other stagers better. Also, there should be less chance of anyone being left ashore. I wish I'd thought of it!

Those are some nice toads my friend! Was awesome to finally meet in person, too bad we couldn’t fish together, maybe next time. Really enjoyed swapping stories and fishing techniques with you. Stay safe and keep that Mojo going.

Was great to see all the folks from late year and all the new comers this year! What a blast!!! Fishing and weather was a slight challenge but man what an awesome group of fishermen!!!
