I fished last weekend and saw water temps at 55 to 57 degrees on the upper end of the lake, I saw no indication of bedding fish, and caught no fish with tore up tails.... While I did catch some fish shallow, I would have to say fish are still pre spawn.... We had some warmer water a couple of weeks ago, but then we went into a cold snap with some cool rain that seems to have slowed them back down... I hope this helps...

Bill, our Alabama Bass Nation Highschool Juniors (middle school age) fished yesterday... winning weight was 19.64# (5fish)....spawn or not the fish are hungry!!
