Hello everyone

My husband and I Bass fish every chance we get. We live in the Mississippi Delta and mostly fish Lake Ferguson in Greenville, MS and Lake Chicot in Lake Village, AR. We do a little Crappie fishing sometimes. I look forward to sharing and learning from everyone!

This was caught on Lake Chicot back in December 2022. It's my personal best 7.15. I caught it on a green/ chartreuse shallow diving crankbait in about 7 feet of water in front of a dock. The water temp was in the high 60s. Also, I put it back. 😁

Welcome to the Stage Basswoman. Beautiful Largemouth there. It sounds like you guys are in a Bass nirvana. Thanks for sharing the picture and replay. You can probably teach most of us a thing or two.

Thank you. Haha. I don't know that I would call it a Nirvana. It's a very unpredictable 5000 acre lake a lot of the times. It is stocked with Florida Bass too. Lake Chicot is the largest Oxbow lake in America. It used to be connected to the Mississippi river but several centuries ago the river rerouted itself so the water level doesn't fluctuate with the river. It's a beautiful lake that has an Arkansas State Park on the north end of it as well. Just a little history.

Thanks for the history lesson, but still home to beautiful fish. Here's a tip for The Stage. If you hit Quote Reply when responding to a post, it will show in your reply, like above mine. Then we know who you're responding too. Just a little something we all had to learn, to make conversations easier to follow. Keep the awesome pictures coming, and Tight Lines.
