I love Trout fishing and want to go the salt river. I live in Queen Creek AZ and need some kind direction map to get there. Also a few spots that are easily accessible. I don’t mind walking so if some spots need walking to it’s ok.
Larry,
I've never fished the river but I know you can access the lower Salt from Bush Highway below Saguaro Lake.
For Trout fishing, I recommend putting in at Sheep's Crossing or Phon Sutton.
Thank You, I just looked these two areas up and it looks like they are good places to go.

Hello larry, there is a guy on YouTube( Goal fishing) he's always at the salt river and you can download his river spots.
Thanks, I will check him out.
How are you Larry? If you take the 60 east and exit at Power Road hang a left on Power and follow that road once you pass the intersection of Power and University then Mckelips road keep heading North on Power it will take you right to the Salt! The road dips and curves and look for a small road to your left that says Phon D Sutton follow that road a mile out so and it will take you to a big parking lot and from there you walk down to the river maybe a couple hundred yards or so not far at all! When they stock it they do it there and a could other spots on the river. Another place is stay on the main road past the Phon D turn off you'll go thru 2 stop signs and you will come to a bridge you drive over and immediately in the other side you can take a left or right and park in the parking lots there and again walk to water fish under the bridge but that spot is really popular got to get there early to get a spot to fish. It's a beautiful place but the fishing can be hit and miss but sure if there still doing the winter stockings but your best bet is to go a few days right after the stock! Good luck buddy hit me up if you have any other ?'s
Thank you very much. I really appreciate it. I will let you know how I do for sure.
