Hi fellow fishers, has anyone had any luck at the above lakes? Wasn’t able to fish at Big Bear one week ago as it was frozen, Silverwood was a bust on Tuesday, and haven’t been to Gregory or Mohave yet this year

Ya, shore, we were told that on Monday 2100 trout were released into Silverwood, but they must need time to acclimate.

Hey gang this might be off topic but I saw on the internet they were starting a weed control program at big bear lake did that work. Up here in the delta it’s like fishing in a forest.

That's a good question Dizzle. Might want to start a new post with that question so all 60,000 members can put there two cents worth in. You'll get a much bigger response.

2100 in a 976 acre lake that's 166' deep ?
Certainly hope that becomes a weekly stocking #, otherwise they're going to be kinda hard to come across, I would think.

Diz... be prepared to see an entirely new Delta this year. Big Winter/Spring runoff is Mother Nature's weed control program that is much more effective than man's.
