I just got my over sand permit for Sandy Neck Beach. Just wondering if anyone has experience fishing in that area. I’m in the process of winter fishing for flounder. Just got all the rigs and haven’t gone yet due to weather.

Welcome to our fishing site! There are lots of Fisherman on board that can often times give great guidance and advice. In this case, I can’t help you in terms of surf casting/shore fishing at Sandy neck. I do all my surf casting at Nauset beach on the lower Cape. I also fish the bay four days a week out of my 24 foot boat for stripers in the summer and Tautog (tog) in the fall. If you would be so kind, keep me posted on how you do on fluke/flounder during this winter season. I honestly didn’t know we could catch them from shore right now. Tight lines!

I don’t know either 😁 Getting my over sand pass for Nauset and Race Point in April. Just bought a 2022 4 door long bed Tacoma TRD. I wanna use it!😁
