I thought I’d post about the tornados yesterday and let y’all know we were very blessed. About two o’clock I was upstairs with my dog and it began pouring down, then the winds came. My wife was at our church in a meeting. They were hunkered down too. The winds began howling so me and my dog went downstairs and hunkered in the guest bathroom. The tornado was starting to sound like a train coming and I knew we were going to be in deep do do. But then it began sounding faint but still howling. We were in there about 30 minutes, then no noise except for sirens constantly going north of me. The tornados hit about a half mile from me. My wife and I think there were two or three tornados because of the damage a half mile west and north of us. We did lose power for thirteen hours but no damage and no harm to us or our property. We were very blessed.

Yeah we were all blessed Dave. It seems eerie today, every time I think about it, how close it was to our neighborhood. Thanks Brother.

Hey Betts! Thank you so much. As far as I know there weren’t any serious injuries or fatalities, but a lot of folks lost their home or business. Over where it lit all the streets are closed. We tried to go eat out tonight but finally gave up and came home.
