It has nothing to do with bank or boat fishing 🎣 it’s all about checking out new equipment and enjoying the the whole experience 👍 when they had the cow palace boat show I’d bring my sons and they would fish the trout pond it was fun and I didn’t own a boat

Even the guy at the tank was not catching anything. I don’t need to know how to be stocked. I’ve been skunked a lot in my life. Also, there was no light tackle to speak of and I was sort of looking for an inflatable only one in the place $1500 and the bottom was of a weaker than the pontoons kayaks were anywhere from $3000-$5000. Absolutely ridiculous.

I find the best way is to join a fishing group and they have all the good places to fish, what to use, and often times equipment for sale.

The show was about half the size it's been in the past. I was disappointed. There are vendors I visit every year that weren't in attendance. In the past there were three full buildings, this time one and a half.

Were we at the same show? Bought a lot of gear, quality snaps, swivels, florocarbon leader material and several nice trout lures all for lite weight trout fishing. Saw a lot of Quality lite weight spinning reels. And rods for sale at great prices.
Great deals on quality ice chests. Yes there were a lot of boat dealers there but still a lot of great deals on gear whether u fish from shore or boat. Got some good deals on Power bait and mouse tails! Sorry u found it a bummer. Oh yeah great Bloodymarys! But I did pay 9 dollars for a corn dog!!! Oh yeah on another note why do they even charge for parking with zero security.? Just ask 40GRIT!!!

I went, and I agree it was a waste of time !! It seems to be taken over by Outfiters. Only a few bait Companies. Even the Fishermens Warehouse wasnt up to usual ! I did get a chance to check out the new Edge Rods by Gary Loomis tho. Liked the Rod, HATED the Handle !! And I'm an old Loomis fan !! That's Pre-Shimanno !! All mine are the old IMX !! I'm Not a fan of the IMX PRO'S !! Guess I just won't be attending any more.
