I'm trying to buy a fishing related gift for my boyfriend. Any suggestions on something that can help improve his chances of catching something, a fun gift idea, etc?

A gift card is usually the best option for this. He likely knows what he wants.

Yeah thats probably best they could get him a cars to bass pro/cabela or dicks sporting goods heck even walmart has some decent fishing gear. I would suggest sending him to novelty co but im unsure of wether or not thats just a mom and pop fishing shop in my area or if its just a smaller one thats all across the U.S. o

Depending on your relationship, you can go online and get him a mermaid fishing lure. He would be the only guy in town with one of those. Not to much and would go well with other stuff.

I still say, get one of these and a gift card. It helps keep my face warm and protected from the sun.

Good thinking. A thoughtful gift can't be replaced by a card. A gift plus a card can work and the one you suggest will be quite useful.
