Down here in Galveston I went fishing for flounder during the flounder run at Seawolf Park. I was not prepared right 4 the constant snags off of the rocks. Broke off most of my tackle using live shrimp and live mullet. Other people were using the same and catching flounder. For some reason I could not keep from getting snags and catching 30 or so sand trout. The sand trout were good size as far as sand trout go. I only kept a couple of dinners worth since sand trout do not say well. I donated the other trout I caught to the poor fisherman that were around meat fishing. Here's a picture of the trout I kept

They are nice sized sand trout. Whore you fishing off a jetty, maybe you weren't fishing out far enough?
