Hello all, I have been enjoying the site for a bit now so figured it was time to say something. I am recently retired and relocated to the coast. Until now I only fished the rivers around town for salmon when they were running on the Green river , Puyallup river and the Carbon river. Now learning surf fishing... Got a lot to learn ! I will get some pics up soon.

Well, Day, it's always nice to hear a new "voice". Glad ya been enjoying this site, and so.....now jump right in.

Welcome to the stage DM,I have a friend that lives in Orting so I'm a little familiar with the Carbon river,fished if a few times though only landed one coho so far,not a big fan of fishing rivers that look like chocolate milk.Have had some luck out of Point Defiance as well,just off the clay banks left of the marina/launch.Good luck and tight lines.
