Well… really feel like Mother Nature stole a month from me, as last year my final trip on the water was Dec 1. But Mother Nature hit us early yesterday, leaving a ton of heavy snow. Power outages everywhere up here. No electrical no heat since yesterday. It’s beautiful and really socked in. So, as I wait (and pray) for power lines to be restored, I went ahead and winterized bass boat and tucked her away in the boat garage.
Thanks to all who looked & responded to my post. Hope it helped pass time between your time on the water. So now it’s time to enjoy all of yours. Tight lines to all… and catch and release as much as possible, as many are just slow to grow. Be safe

Beautiful but I'm glad it's yours
Hopefully you have a bunch of candles for some Candlepower heat. Thanks for all the COOL pictures. Stay warm.
Beautiful place you have there. Sorry the snow ruined your fishing but it looks nice and relaxing.

Beautiful picture if that’s your house, I assume you have a snow blower. I have enjoyed your fishing pictures. Here in chilly Alpine ca it is 53 now going down to 42 tonight. I could probably handle 2 days of that snow with my born in San Diego CA body, not more. Love to live there in the summer and fish. Larry W.

Yep that’s my place. Born & raised on Calif beaches, but you get use to it… (I get it, some don’t). But a minor sacrifice to be living in such beautiful country. Oh, my fishing ain’t bad either 😉

I hope you get your power back soon JB. I guess the winter is coming in like a Lion out there. I've enjoyed all your posts even though I'm EXTREMELY jealous of all the monsters at your disposal out there. Our season is ending soon as well, so we'll be watching the California and southern guys also. Good luck and stay warm.

Beautiful scenery, beautiful house, but I hate that damn snow. Been there, done that, hated it!

Hahaha. I get that many will have reasons not to like the snow… but for me, I think of it as population control. 😉

Great response JB!, Hope you enjoy the winter months. This Hawaiian beach boy always thought "Snow is something you visit for a day, not live in it". Will miss your great pictures and stories of the different lakes.
Be safe my friend.

Hey JB. I'm headed up to Tahoe Sunday and they are expecting storms to come in Sunday night through Wednesday, clearing Thursday then another Friday. They say possible 3 to 4 feet of snow for the Tahoe area by the end of next week.
Wouldn't go but have to have the furnaces serviced on Monday. Just hope we can get out before it gets too bad Monday afternoon.
