I will be on Hilton Head south Carolina Jan and Feb of 2020. Does anyone know if there is any good fresh water fishing in that area. I would prefer small ponds for bass or crappie. Preferably without alligators.
I suspect the best fishing holes also has gators - good luck

You might check out some of these I think Jarvis creek park is fresh water it’s got a good size lake you can walk around but there is gators.
They have Walleyes there?
If you just stay back from the water can you avoid the Gators. I kind of like my legs being attached.

Come on in Phil the waters fine.
Seriously Phil, stay away from the edges and if you are in a craft, just don't put your hand in the water without looking. And even then remember you are not at the top of the food chain in gatorville. Good luck, be safe and send some pics.
be alert and keep your head on a swivel
" Swivel ". Like that oldsalt. Good one.
At the Jersey shore the only critters of concern are sea gulls. They'll steal your bait when your back is turned.
You guys are funny even when Dead serious.

I don't think you are going to have gators in walleye water.
