Prefer saltwater fishing, but any type of fishing is great. I like to fly fish, very proficient in snagging trees.

How does one prepare the tree's for eating.

No I am no beaver, they chew on it raw.

A lot of well fished places the trees look like Christmas trees all decorated with fishing equipment.

Double duty ornaments for Christmas equipment the rest of the year.

Preferably new each year so they have no odor.

If you get in trouble for it.

I will take the heat.

Hi Velvetrider,
If you don't get hung up occasionally you are not fishing in the right places.
Welcome

Welcome, Vel. I have never thought of it that way but it's true, Roughneck. But,,,,,, it's of little consolation.

Count your blessings, my friend ! Snagging trees is still way preferable to wearing a #10 Wooly bugger for an earring ! That was 45 years ago, and I still haven't touched another fly rod since that incident ! LOVE my spinning gear !

Just left NC/TN mountains, you`all can have that cold weather! Went to see fall foliage and got frozen, just to see the last leaves fall. Never got to fly fish either, showed up on back of wrecker, broke down in campground watching the rain and freezing weather. Finally navigator fixed just to tour wind blown mountain tops. Gotta go earlier next year and stay longer to get my new fly line wet! Keep saying fly fishing, one of these days!

All over the place, hopefully left the hard luck at the repair shop! Wanted to hike and fish but just hiked to town and lugged food back. Finally the clouds lifted seen the last fall leaves on the road home. Talk about cabin fever, good thing the wife and I get along so well.
