I’m looking for a boat. I’m old and my balance is a issue. No middle seats. I have to be able to load and unload alone. Any suggestions
How about a small pontoon?
I don’t live on a lake so it’s in and out all the time. I heard pontoon can be hard load and unload

Craig,
I have the same balance issues as you. I have a friend that has a Pondtoon boat & it’s not so difficult to launch & retrieve. The only draw back is that the wind pushes in around.
Wonder how they compare in cost
What kind of waters are you fishing Craig? Rivers, lake, ocean, or creeks and how big of a boat can you or your vehicle handle?
Small lakes my truck can handle 8800 lbs

What about a small aluminum center console?
Old john boat fan. Wide 18' foot or more with high sides great for balance. Seen many new welded ones with center consoles that have a hand rail around windshield! If I was ever to update that would be next, no seats to step over with solid no slip bottoms.
Craig, I was leaning as to what Raw Dawg said and waited to see your reply. Light weight compared to that pontoon boat and lower profile for wind resistance. Motor size depends on your needs. Stability is there as well. Depending what size you get, it just might fit in your pick up with out needing a trailer.
A nice flat bottom Jon boat would work just fine! There are a few companies that make very nice boats. Take a look at Lowe boats. You can customize your boat to match your exact application. My experience with Jon boats is that the are very sturdy and well balanced. Light, easy to maneuver, easy to tow, very easy to launch and able to get into places most other boats can’t 🏄🏼♂️🎣
Lund Aluminum Boats Deep “V”🎣🐠
Look 👀 at the website and call a dealership for more information.. You may be interested in purchasing a pre-owned boat... They are normally much less expensive...🚣♀️ My choice would be the Adventure Deep “V”... the 1675, 16’ 10” Long, 60 to 90 HP.. I would go with the 90 HP Motor...

Smokercraft 15' with all 15 hp works great on lakes even in the wind
