Ran across another fish story I thought you fellows would enjoy. If I caught 3 Bass that added up to the weight of one of these guys it would be my best day ever, by far!!

They don’t grow them that big around us. In Ohio a 5-6lber is a absolute hog. Those are insanely big!!

Yessir! Th biggest bass I have personally laid eyes on was 12.3 pounds. Spring time . Came from Toledo Bend. Once you see one that impossibly huge you never forget it. A young man I worked with before I retired in 2018 caught it using a chatterbait.....My 2cents.

Yep, saw a 15 pounder at the bait shack near lake Fork TX. They kept it in an aquarium. When you looked at it, it looked like the glass was magnifying its size. It wasn't being magnified, it was just surreal, easily bigger than a bowling ball.

TX State Record 18.18lbs.
Now that's a big ol' Hog Bass!!

I can’t imagine a bass like that. It certainly makes sense that folks use 30-50# test and MH rods to go after those beasts. I could see myself being towed around in my kayak by one of those for quite a while (until she got sick of me).

WOW! Those are monsters. The biggest Bass I’ve ever caught was a 7.5 and an 8.1, and I thought those were huge.
