What's you favorite line under what conditions, P-Line Floroclear is my go to for winter time fishing and a combo of that and a braid for summer. P-Line has a floroclear that visible under a black light so I use it night fishing also. tough stuff.

I use Cajun Red 14# mono on most of my 4000 and 5000 reels. I think it's made by Zebco. use 20# and #0# on offshore reels.

For trout and panfishing my absolute favorite isTrileneXL. For braid on baitcasters and spinning reels for other applications kinda fell in love Berkeley X9, previously used power pro and was pleased but the Berkeley is definitely superior.

I haven't heard Ande in a very long time but I used to use it a lot. The pink Ande in 4#test was my got to for years in the winter for smallmouth. Guess I didn't know it was still around but that's a great choice.

Ive been using the Power Pro for many years when going to braid. May have to give the Berkley a try. I also use Fire Line at night, not so much because I like it but because they make a fluorescent line that is visible under a black light.

The older I get tying knots takes a little longer , that being said Ande has always been the easiest line for me to tie my knots in 30lb. and above, Still very Strong line.

I really know what you're saying about tying knots, what used to take me just a few seconds now draws out to be a chore. I tie a loop knot for many of my presentations and it's really got to be tough, Arthritis and bad eye sight makes it a lot of work.

My favorite type line is the kind with a big fish on it.

I am pretty sure it’s tough line ( braided) if I have bulk put on Power pro if I buy spool to load at home. I love Maxima. End up having to get Trilene or whatever Floro or Mono is at local stores for leader if Maxima is not available in lower # test.

I also have harder time with eyes mostly but arthritic and temp issues really make tying more challenging.

I prefer prepping and getting tied up as much as possible before getting in truck. Tie up additional leaders etc for the day or trip ahead of time.

Ivey, always used power pro but I’ve recently respolled with the X9. In my opinion it’s definitely a better braid.

Thanks for information. What do you like about it compared to PP?

Seaguar smack down or suffix 832 for braid. Flash green on both.
Seaguar Tatsu is my favorite flouro , and I use this as leader a lot.
It’s a little pricy so I use seaguar abraz X a lot too

It really depends on the fish your after.
Trout will take a line that disappears.

Other like bass will trigger a "watch and see what is coming by".

Most of all, what do you have confidence in?
