Let me be clear - this post is NOT about race or race relations. Okay, got that out of the way. Hopefully.

The older I get the more questions I have about a variety of things. I used to be a black and white guy. No shades of gray. Things were either right or wrong. This way or that way.

As I got older, I realized people and circumstances aren't that simple. There are plenty of reasons why things happen or why people behave a certain way.

If you have things all figured out in your life, more power to you. If you know the answer to everything, fantastic. I don't.

I'm amazed by the number of people that do. They know everything and have all the right answers to life's questions. They are seldom if ever, wrong. Ask them.

Are you one those people? Be honest. Just asking.

No. The question will remain on Chit-Chat until the thread slowly dies Fly. Whenever you are ready.

Another part of the question is, would anyone admit to being a black and white, always right person?

This is a deep one so early gh.

I have always figured there is a right way and a wrong way to a lot of things. My bottom line on achieving the correct way was that there is more than 1 way to get there. One's way of doing things is not necessarily the right way.

So true about people and circumstances aren't simple, heck if all things were cohesive new ideas would never occur.

If i had all the answers i wouldn't be sitting here well before the sun comes up wondering why am i putting up with 15*.

So to answer your question, nope. Still learning from all my wrongs.

I've met a few people over the years who figured they knew it all and had all the answers, I usually didn't like being around them and they mostly turned out to have wrong answers. It seems to me that looking for answers talking with others is a big part of how we grow and learn and become. I don't know much but I'm willing to learn......
