New to Florida & Gulf of Mexico fishing

I have been in Clearwater for a year now and the six months I started fish here when I have time off too. I’m still trying to learn/figure out what is used in both fresh/saltwater for fishing.

Welcome to the Forum, Hook'em. We love pictures. Live shrimp for the salt, I'm not a bass fisherman.

If it is possible for you I would advise a trip to Navarre beach for the Pier there. Over 1500 feet out into the gulf. About 150 feet from the gulf stream. Son was station near there and did King Fish, a 20 LB Flounder, and even a black fin Tuna from the end of the pier. Here's the link for you.
