Good luck Saw!
Was reading an article last night about fishing in pairs, using a technique called the 1-2 punch you may want to try today. You may already do this, of course… You and JOJ may be using different techniques and one of you gets a blowup and misses a fish. The other casts a more subtle technique immediately on the same spot. The fish was fired up, but may not have been totally committed, but a fresh technique may inspire another bite. Or, if you are both throwing the same baits, such as a Chatterbaits, etc., have a third rod pre-rigged with a Senko on a drop shot ready to use by whomever has a free hand. I have seen this done by fishing teams on shows, but I rarely remember to try it. I typically make the bad decision to throw the same bait half a dozen more times hoping lightning will strike twice and most likely spooking a fish with something he didn’t want in the first place 🤦🏼‍♂️

Good luck guys, I'm sure you'll find them Steve. They may have come up to shallower water than they were, last time. Keep the drop-shot ready anyway though.

Good luck Saw! br Was reading an article last ni... (show quote)

I could see the 1 - 2 punch working in some scenarios, it would be worth a try anyway. I don't think it would work very well if you were using live bait. That would cause a problem.

Thanks OJD. We frequently do that if we are fishin top water. Not so much if we're drop shottin. Don't know where they'll be or if we'll find em today, but we're gonna try anyway.
