New to FS from PNW

I’m new to the Forum and hoping to learn some new things from y’all. Been fishing off & on my whole life and trying to get into it a little more. I really enjoy the lakes and rivers in the PNW (E side of WA mostly). Have always just fished for Walleye, bass, trout & crappie/ sunfish. May explore sturgeon and salmon in the future (never tried yet).
Just trying to enjoy life.

More power to you. Wa. has great fishing in general if you can handle the regulatorial hoops.

Need the Fish Washington app, interactive map will show you spots lifelong residents aren’t aware of and keep you up to date on those emergency regs they can change while you’re fishing

You mean the app that notifies Fish and Wildlife where you are and closes fishing there whenever YOU are there?

They don’t have too. Wherever the run is good they just shut down fishing till the runs over, then say ok you can fish now. If I bought a concert ticket and they only played before they let us in I’d get my money back

Fishing for anything is a good way to do that.

Welcome BassBait, there's a lot of good folks on this forum that have a wealth of knowledge so tap in anytime. Just started fishing in February again myself...its been 30 years before that...don't know why I ever stopped.
