I haven’t been to possum kingdom in 20 years. Hoping for some great luck.
I’m going to be using ramp at Sand Creek Marina. Anyone have any suggestions that won’t make me run the lake just searching ? Sure would appreciate it. Thanks

Stripers eat chicken livers too as well as the cats.

Fishermantilldead: I see where another has posted about chicken livers are suitable for both catfish and stripers. The only problem I see with that is that stripers are schooling fish, and catfish are not! I think you are going to have to decide which you are going after and concentrate on those.

If you can get some live perch, that might allow you to land a big cat. For stripers, I suspect you will need a boat equipped with electronics to find schools of stripers. They are usually found chasing schools of shad and will hit lures that mimic shad. Just Sayin...RJS

I will very respecfully disagree with part of your post RJS.

Cats don't school up.
I agree with that.

Stripers not only school but also take up residence being the only one at home.
I can personally take you some "hot-spots" for larger stripers. We "run & gun" those spots.
Experience has taught us how to hit it then move on.

On the Potomac River in Washington DC. at Fletcher Landing, most all catches are singles as they dominate structure only big enough for one.

Stripers school and can be rogue.

You would not have to pick one or the other.

Respectfully my 2 cents worth.
