Doesn't nature give us some of the most INCREDIBLE artwork. No two sunrises or sunsets the same. Beauty to behold every day n everywhere if we take the time to look ☺️☺️

I could only wish to be able to see that. I'm WAYYYYY too far south to be able to enjoy that view.

I remember seeing them back in the 60s in my neighborhood, but can’t remember the last time I did. Not sure if there is too much “light pollution” or due to climate change?

Extended period of a quiet sun. It's starting to wake up. Coronal mass ejections. Brownouts and electronic failures are in our future.

According to Wikipedia the lights can sometimes be seen as far south as the 35th parallel, which is the southern border of Tennessee. The red line. I remember seeing them as a kid in Indiana. Conditions have to be just right.

I bet if someone in Tennessee saw that , It would be on the news there was a UFO sighting. You know they make some good shine in them mountains.

Ahh the auroras! I've only seen them once while driving at night in northern PA. Quite spectacular! Thank you for posting, Gordon!
