Very true and thanks for the reminder. We don't recognize our farmers and ranchers nearly enough. They are VERY important and we need to show appreciation more for their efforts. Too many are labeled as government leeches and that's just not true. Thanks to all the farmers and ranchers that work so hard for all of us.π
A shout out to all farmers. Got a cousin who farms in South Dakota. Thanks for all you do for usβ¦πon
Thank You! Many people donβt realize the hours put in to fatten the beef for there steak or hamburger, or plant to harvest, for potatoes! Or many other farm produced products. Many of the children of today donβt even know where there food actually comes from. ( other then the grocery store )

Yeah, I grew up farmin and ranchin. Lots of my family back in Texas still are. Most people just don't get it how hard farmers and ranchers have it. Endless hours of back breakin work in a very thankless industry.
Thanks to you ALL for your dedication to your chosen profession.

I sure appreciate them. Hard to understand how they can do that around here in Southern New England. Housing developers routinely offer obscene amounts of money to buy small farms here so they can slap up a gated community with high end condos.. Yet the farmers soldier on. For their time and investment, their profits are mighty thin, and they are usually one bad season from new debt or disaster. My hat goes off to them all.
I try to attend "farmers markets" when I can and also take trips to the country and buy their fresh produce. Nothing like a corn on the cob picked within an hour. You don't even have to cook it. So sweet!
