Good way to start the day. Love those we encounter, trust those that do us well, and treat others as we would treat our selves.

And on the lighter side of Trust.

Did you know when you throw babies in the air,

they laugh because they know you will catch them.

That's TRUST.

Wise words to live by.
Good morning, Plum.

I'll modify it some, love a few, trust very few and I'll treat you great until you treat me like crap. Then, watch out.

You've heard the expression "turn the other cheek." What I've learned is if you do that your face is sore on both sides instead of one. Sorry, I'm not interested in that scenario. Doesn't sound very Christian does it?

Bob. I doubt you would have that happen. I remember that neighbor you took care of by notifying her family about her living conditions.

Good memory Gh. We still keep in touch with her and the family. 400 miles between us now but yet just like when they were down the road.

Gmon Plum n y'all. Have a great day. If I treat others like I treat myself they won't like me. I'm harder on myself than I am others. Character flaw I guess. Unfortunately like G most I've trusted have left a knife in my back. Told the guys when I retired thanks for all the knives over the yrs. I had enough to open a shop. After all that I still help people. Trust is much more difficult now days but I do what I do without any expectations of repayment. I do it for me. Another character flaw I guess Lol. If I can make someone smile I smile. The smiles n thank yous are payment enough. Only I can ruin my whole day. Smile fellows you're still alive. πŸ‘πŸ‘

tomorrow. Like the concept, but it's not always easy. Sometimes it edges toward forgive, but never forget.

I do that but when many say trust me I wouldn't lie to you. They just told the first one. Trust to me is like respect Plum it's earned over time. πŸ‘

I've lived by that for years and have had to remove many knives from my back. Now I'll just remove myself from the situation.
Trust is something that has to be earned and nurtured. Right now where I am I have a lot of trust in the people I'm staying with, they have welcomed me and my appreciation is to help things they need and stand by them.

I'm sure we have all been used and taken advantage of, I have been accused of being gullible and stupid but in the final analysis if I am hard used by someone or if my trust is betrayed it is a reflection on them not me. I won't let them do it twice, I walk away, but I don't quit being open to folks either. I often wonder if it might just help someone learn to be better by having me trust them. Usually not but maybe just one person and then it's all worth it I think!
