My son and I are headed the Barren River lake for a tournament 8th-9th.
We have never been there.
Was wondering type of bait fish for crankbait colors..
I don't see big rains coming so I was wondering if the water is stained or clear...
Welcome to the Stage DrewsEagle. I got no idea even where that is. Hopefully someone on here does and will help you out. If they have a marina I would give them a call or look for them on the web, they should be able to give you some information. Good luck and be safe.

Welcome to the Stage DrewsEagle. I can’t help you. I’m in Texas, but I’m sure someone else will be able to.
Hack 🇺🇸🍺🍺
Looks like it is in KY, so I would try bluegill, crappie, crawfish and baby bass colored crank baits.
Perhaps some of our Kentuckian friends will come up with better ideas, too?
Good luck!
Go to the department of fish and wild life(KDFW) and look up fishing and the lakes you will find info. on all lakes in Kentucky
