I appreciate that Plumbob, I know it had to hurt leaving NC. At least you can be thankful for the time you had. I sure hope you are happy in your current location. Like in that old 80's film, Fast Times At Ridgemont High...the ticket scamper said, always make the place you are at, the only place to be...or something like that...Good luck with your fishing.

Happy yes Govna, but happier when i was fishing the Pamlico. I have been here since February and have made 2 trips back to the previous residence there in NC where i know the waters. Found some salt water here so just got to learn new waters. Just taking each day one at a time.

That is good to hear and everything is going to be just fine. Did you ever fish around Oregon Inlet area ? When my uncle was still living I loved going with him around the Hatteras Inlet. We used shiners (silver minnows) that we caught in a dragnet.

No, never left the Pungo or the Pamlico areas. Fishing was always good one place or the other.
